    Bit of a back story here :) My GF and I are currently living in her parents house, so our living arrangements are tight at best having only one room to live in. We are both in collage and I claim back to education allowance, she has a job that doesn't pay very well. We both are saving to pay for collage this year due to not getting the grant and having to save.

    I am wondering what we are entitled to when it comes to housing. We would really like to move out of her parents house but have no clue as to what we can get to help us as we don't have alot of money to spend. Any help would be great. If you guys need any more info please just ask :)

    P.S (We are currently working through to get on the housing list, but if you have an alternative thats fine)

    I don't think there is another alternative in your situation to going on the housing list and applying for rent allowance, unless something changes, such as one or both of you suddenly getting a decent-paying job, but I would be happy to be proved wrong.
