Repeats effect on overall grad dip grade

    Hi all,

I've just completed a grad dip in DCU Business School. I was plagued with illness this year so will have all my exams to do in August. Three exams are deferred due to extenuating circumstances, four exams I sat and will definitely fail and need to repeat.

To pass this course, you need to get 50%. (You get exemptions at this level, and so they decided to not let people pass with lower than that)

So, I'm a bit confused about how this will work. Will the max I can get for the repeated subjects be 50%? Or will I only be awarded 50% overall? ie. If I get more than 50% in the deferred modules, can they be used to raise my results higher than 50%?
