    Hi,

If we upgrade to eFibre, will the installer have to put in a new telephone line (drilling, ,etc.)

Or is it simply a new modem?

    Regards

    Hi Spon Farmer

An efibre upgrade does require an engineer appointment - they don’t do any drilling but it does involve a little bit of work to the main socket in your house and installation of a new modem

    Thanks

    Thank you.

I cannot find the letter that Eircom sent with the number to call or find it on the website.

I was supposed to call by the 30th - today - to schedule the upgrade.

Can I still do that today?

    What is the number?

Also, eFibre is only available on an 18 month contract.

What does this mean? What happens after 18 months?

    Hi Spon Farmer

You would need to contact sales on free phone 1800 500 300 or 1800 503 303 - either one will do  :)

An 18 month contract means that you would need to agree to keep the service for 18 months without closing or moving account to another provider.

    Thanks
    Al

    Thanks.

So, unless we actually end it by contacting you it will just carry on?
