How busy would the 16:37 train from Connolly to Rosslare usually be. Its only a 2 coach train and only 7 seats are reserved. Just wondering because I never realised the train starts in Malahide not Connolly where I booked the tickets from. Will I get a seat?

The 16:37 is operated by a 29000 set, while the two following trains are ICR operated.

If that is the case seat reservations will not be honoured, just FYI to OP

Maybe related but I think there is a festival this? weekend in wexford. That could change things if you are travelling this week.

the afternoon service can be a 29 also, sadly nothing is consistent train wise on this or the sligo line, its whatever ie can throw out to us. as for the service, it is usually busy, traffic can fluctuate the odd time though, but thats not unique to this service on the rosslare line, just remove the bone shaker commuter trains for good from the line and more people might come. hope you have a good trip and stay

16.37 Rosslare is usually quite busy but you should still get a seat if boarding at Connolly.

yeah, i always feel like an old age pensioner when i arrive in wexford off a 29 k, the old back creaks during the journey on the old bone shakers and does be gone by the time i get off
