    What would be in your opinion to be the best way to picking up a few friends on this?
    Me thinks going into the categories and threads that interest ya and talking to people is how ya do it

    Don't take no for an answer they are just being shy. Don't hesitate to take it from online to real life right away.

    Females particularly like this. They want you to be their 'special friend'.
