Replacement stereo for Golf (Import)

Hopefully I don't come across too dim here...

I have an 08 Japanese import golf so the stereo is limited frequency wise

I've looked into an FM tuner but no one seems to get back to me (I wouldn't know where to start me self). Anyway now I'm looking into replacing the entire head unit, and want Bluetooth/hands free for the iPhone and would like to be able to play Spotify/music via the stereo (not really interested in SatNav tbh - party bonus if it's worth it). Will the frequency thing affect replacing it?

Now there's not a snowballs chance in hell I'll even hope to do this myself, so looking for recommendations for both an actual unit that's not too flashy and someone reliable to fit it?
Obvious, I'd like to keep it as cheap as I can but at the same time I don't want it to look too out of place either so that'll dictate the route I take I suppose

    Thanks in advance!

Can you stick some pics up, love jdm euro cars!

If it were me I'd stick with original vw for the radio, or at least something that looks original.

I wonder if the vw radio can be coded or something? Maybe its an advanced setting? There are specialist vw heads out there that might be able to help?
