Tax Credits after Long Term Unemployment.

    Hi All

    Got a job after 3 years unemployed, will I pay little or no tax for the first few months due to built up tax credits, am single no dependents?

    Unused tax credits do not carry forward from previous years.

    You will have tax credits built up since 1 Jan 2014 that will be available against your pay this year so you may not pay paye for a few pay cheques depending on your salary
