Got this update on Nexus 7 (2013) today.

It was OTA. Not sure what's included in the update yet though :P

Did anyone else get this or knows what's new in the update?

Apparently it contains fix for OpenSSL aka Heartbeat vulnerability.

N7 2012 version got it OTA this morning. Very quick install. Security patch, I think it said.

I think its a security update for that HeartBleed bug that's been going around

It was for the TowelRoot expoit; a bug in the kernel that allow certain apps to gain root access without the need for rooting.

The OTA 4.4.4 update fails on my Nexus 7 (2012) with the 'Dead Android' error. No explanation found. Anyone else have this problem?
