Yes but the District Hospital is now known as the Kilrush Community Hospital.

And its a long stay residential home for older people rather than an acute hospital.

Thanks. . Was the district hospital run by an order or nuns or the health depth. Where would I enquire re medical files dating back to the 1940s any help is appreciated.
