    Hello

See attached image. Can anybody tell me the difference between the following long term car parks at Dublin airport

1 ) Express Green Long Term
2 ) Holiday Blue Long Term

This "new" Express Green Long Term is a bit more expensive, just wondering why, checked it out and seems to be in exact same area as the holiday blue one etc etc

The Express Green is new CP to increase summer capacity (just opened). There is no real difference but Green is slightly closer and has a little more frequent bus transfer service but really there is nothing between them, Green opened to take pressure off Blue and Red Long Term car parks.

As you can see its more so aimed as people only going for 1 week and departing Fri-Sun.

Quickpark almost always cheaper, way closer than blue car park and their shuttles are unbelievably frequent...

I don't actually know. It's only a few hundred metres from terminal 2 though, so you could easily walk it.

Dunno. I was there last Saturday, on the shuttle bus as we came out of the car park entrance you can see terminal 2 straight ahead of you. Drive through one junction and up the driveway to the terminal, didn't seem far and we were commenting that if we'd had to wait more than a couple of minutes for the shuttle we'd have been better off walking. No kids with us though!

Anyway the airport info page lists a phone number that you have to call if you arrive back outside of Fri-Sat working hours so you can access your car.

The long term car parks are not within walking distance of either terminal with baggage.

Been in both quickpark appear to have more shuttles we were waiting in DAA red last year for 25 mins on a coach thats supposed to be every 10 mins. Quickpark there has always been a coach waiting on both ends when I came out of the airport.

Yes, quickpark is much more efficient. They always have a bus waiting at the point where they're directing newly arrived cars to, and then when the bus from the airport turns up, the waiting one departs immediately. Same thing at the airport stand. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes either end.
