Does anyone know where to buy large art prints of paintings by famous painters? I'm looking to decorate my home. I would also be open to original paintings. Either a shop in Dublin or online

The national gallery has a shop inside, which sells prints of famous paintings in differant sizes. as for originals you could go along to the peoples art exhibition on st stephens green in a couple of weeks the 25,26 and 27th of july there'll be over 100 artists with lots of original work, plus you get to meet the artists. Or a quick google search will put up lot of gallerys in town for you to go have a look at. Duke street in town has a couple of gallerys on it.

Hi. I was wondering is there any legal problems involved, if I was to download such pics and leave them into somewhere to be printed on canvas? Only for my own use. I got some from a reputable shop but was less than ecstatic with the results, and I would assume they download them from the web anyway. Just to be clear, can I download famous paintings(e.g 'sunflowers' by Van Gogh) and leave it in to be printed on canvas, for my own use.

What would you use it for?

I like the idea of having a realistic looking copy of one of the great paintings hanging in the living room. Perhaps a small one or two for the rooms. The point is, I would only want it for my own place.
