    Hi all,

I have an interview with pfizer in the coming days and was just wondering if anyone on here has had any experience with their interview process and may be able to share some insights/information on their interview process?

Any and all information would be hugely appreciated!

Had an interview with Pfizer before. It was one of the more difficult ones. I went through CPL and came top 10% in the aptitude test. There were 3 stages:-I did a group assessment involving roleplaying a problem at work with another applicant. Brainstorming a strategy to improve a work plan with 7 other applicants. The last stage was an interview by two people, a HR Representative and a Team Leader. I didn't succeed in getting past this stage as I found it went against most of my strengths but others thrive in this environment. Hope this helps and best of luck!

Yeah faron has it spot on there. Hope it went well for you. If you pass the interview it is background checks which take months and then a medical. Best of luck.

Took one of their indigo-coloured pills for the laugh and went in to the interview with the horn hanging off me. Told them I had a serious hard-on for their company. Now running their Paris office. True story.

I have done a few internal interviews over the years and their focus lately seems to be on competency type interviews.
    So you may get questions like;
Tell about a time when you showed leadership, initiative,problem-solving, or handled a difficult colleague?
So a typical response would involve a story in which you handled the situation in a positive way.
There is loads on the internet about "Competency Style interviews".
    Good luck

    Hi,

Can you give me an idea how long the whole process took today? Thanks

All in all about 3 hours. The groups that were assessed yesterday (Thursday) had their interviews today and the people that were assessed today will have their interviews on Wednesday

    Thanks a million, appreciate it.

Miscommunication with the recruitment agency, I was told I was going for an interview. I'm absolutely raging, I was totally unprepared to sit the aptitude tests. I know you can't prepare but you can practice.

    Good luck to you anyway!

Also any idea if "temperorary" jobs at Pfizer usually lead to full time contracts or will they just let you go after Christmas?

Is the position located at Grange Castle ?

If so all I can say is that the future looks bright at Grange Castle with constantly increased workloads. There are a number of people employed on temporary contract positions that have been there for years. A few of those have eventually been lucky enough to get a permanent role.

Like anywhere you should get in the door and make a good impression and with a bit of luck it will work out.

Hi, Pfizer had an advertisement on either Newstalk or RTE 1 looking to recruit people for their Biopharmaceutical division at Grange Castle. They gave an email address to send applications. Can anyone tell me what the email address was?

Check CPL's website for process technician position. They are responsible for recruitment.
