    Hi Folks,

    I will keep this simple.

I had a car accident about a month ago while driving the OH's car.
Her Insurance company dealt with the claim. (I am a named driver on her policy)

I also have a separate policy on my car. My insurance is up for renewal soon. Am i obliged to tell the my insurance company of the accident?

    Thanks.

Yes. You won't lose your no claims bonus though, as you didn't claim off your own policy.

But your premium will be affected by the accident, even though you still have ncb. You are now seen as a higher risk i'm afraid.
