As title i need a bios password, i don't have the service tag as i see a seller on ebay who gives codes if you give him that. the sticker on the ram cover is also worn off so i have no numbers to go off.
Is there anything or anywhere i can get around this, i disconnected the little battery also and no good. i tried several passwords i came across on online forums too with no success. any help be appreciated thanks.

On my Dell e6400 laptop, the service tag can be found in the BIOS setup

    Can you access Windows?

If so download the Dell Service Tag Lookup (Scroll to bottom of page and agree).

    or THIS

You should have a 7 Digit code now.

    Then when you have it
    Try http://bios-pw.org/
    or
    THIS
