Just spent a fantastic afternoon in Arggillan demesne I love the wall gardens and the rose garden, everyone seems to be doing something because the weather is so nice.

So what had been you day out because of the fab weather and why would you rate it?

Yes, pass it every day on the way to work, not sure if its really a day out kinda place even the pubs around there don't look great, I live near two fantastic beaches but knew they would be packed today so decided to do something different and had a really lovely time there were lots of family's having bbq and picnics, it was lovely.

A good few beers last night followed by a swim at 830 in Tramore then a sleep when I got home and now relaxing watching the World Cup and flicking over to keep up with the score in the KK Galway game and my daughter learning to walk around the room all of that and the sun is still shining brightly. :)

It's great when we get a bit of sunshine.

Local park/Stephens Green etc are packed with annoying idiots and kids of these annoying idiots on nice days so I avoid them.I opened the bedroom window wider than I usually do yesterday though. It was fab.

At home, curtains closed, world cup

Don't know if you are being serious or not but today has been a fantastic day of sport. I've watched the Grand Prix, golf, gaa football, hurling and now the World Cup. Can't beat that for one of the great days. Might go out for a while after this match; seems nice outside

I was 14 during the heatwave of 1995. I remember going out at 8 in the morning, going home just for dinner and then out again - every day during the summer. epic

Went to the Botanic Gardens on Wesnday last week when the sun was splitting the stones. T'was heavenly but after about 2 hours in the 20+ degree heat I started feeling faint. Me blood's too thick for the heat but I try to enjoy it where I can.
Also went to Dublin Zoo last week and had a grand time. Only bad thing was- no more reptile and bat house! Whyyyy?!

Haven't set foot out since Friday evening. Just been taking it easy and watching TV

(this may have something to do with it being the last weekend before payday but I like the occasional quiet weekend, plus I'm not into sun-worshipping anyway)
