ACCA Qualified but No Degree

As per the title, I am a qualified accountant (ACCA) but I don't have a degree.

I am job hunting at the moment and have come across a few positions that have online application forms and I'm required to select the highest level of education I have achieved from a drop down list.

The list doesn't have professional qualifications on it; just school, diploma, degree, masters etc. (it's the same application for all jobs, not specific for accounting).

So I'm aware that ACCA is equivalent to a masters but I feel like I could be misleading them if I select masters, but I would be selling myself short if I selected anything lower.

What would you do? Is anyone else in the same position i.e. without a degree and did you find it an obstacle in applying for jobs?

Have you checked to see if you are eligible for the Oxford Brookes degree awarded by ACCA?

Independent Colleges were offering a one year part-time Masters for qualified accountants last year. I just had a look on their website now but I don't see it anywhere. Maybe they didn't get the numbers? Somewhere else might offer something similar.

Yes, I am eligible and I have looked into doing it. However, the next submission is November and I'm looking for a job now! :(

Thanks, I just checked my emails and I got an email on this last year. I remember being interested in it but it was supposed to start in February this year and I was out of the country then.

I'll do a bit of research and see if there's anything else similar.

I would choose masters level if they don't have a professional option.

Thanks, that is what I was planning to do.

I was doubting myself though as I had an interview recently where I was asked how I could be an accountant without a degree. I had to explain how a degree would give someone exemptions from exams but they actually didn't seem have a clue.
