Best place to find a site

    Morning campers.

I have a question about the best way to go about buying a site.

We are looking to buy a site in our local area, however, going through traditional means such as through EA's doesn't seem to be bringing up much and I'm also conscious that by going through EA's I am paying more for the site, Ideally, I want to get as much as possible for my money.

What I am hoping you guys could help me with, is some recommendations of where to look, and other ideas?

One thing I was considering was maybe putting an ad in a local newspaper to see, anyone had any experience of this?

So far I've checked sites such as Daft, Local EA's sites, DoneDeal.

    Thanks in advance.
