Car Service after how many miles?

I have a 03 Fiesta that I service (oil and filter only usually) every 10,000 miles but was told lately that I should be servicing it every 6,000 miles, maximum 7.000 miles and more than that is not good. So is this right? every 6,000 miles?? or will 10,000 be ok, anyone else have same car and know? Thanks

if your using good quality oil then every 10,000 or once a year what ever comes sooner is fine.

you can change the oil as often as you like but there has to be some common sense as it would cost a fortune to change it every few thousand miles

If driving is always in heavy traffic or lots of short hops then you could consider shortening the oil change interval

I am 100% with what visual posted. Whatever the car, an oil + filter change is really cheap and does make a big difference. Will do my car in the next few weeks
