What is your favorite online page for news? I used to go to Independent (.ie) but it has changed to celebrity gossip type of news. TheJournal.ie seems like it is only for coffee break with pictures and jokes, and irishtimes.com is little bit messy.

Any other good website that doesn't talk about Rosanna or Kim Kardashian (yes another issue I have with independent.ie) every day?

The Guardian website is probably the best. Content-wise, the Irish Times is good, but it's not very well designed.

The Irish times I know the web site isn't the best but the content is and its better than reading the indo or any of the other rags.

    Irish Times for Irish news.

Guardian,UK indo and NY Times for more international news and general analysis.

I really like www.theatlantic.com for analysis and interesting articles too.

I also recommend Mark Little's twitter for solid news articles links.

I used to like breakingnews.ie but now they line up the serious news alongside the lastest zany youtube videos and what's trending on twitter.

I like bbc news but I wish there was a decent Irish news website.

BBC. Has loads of excellent spin-off or unusual stories as well as main news.
    Can't praise it enough.
