First date with my GF of nearly 3 years (oh wow!) was a death metal concert, I'd highly recommend it ;) Are there any death metal bands playing near you?

Take him/her to House on Leeson Street! Massive outdoor area with good food - good drink etc etc, very comfy.

Dueling. You may need to borrow some dueling pistols off a mate though.

Go to multiple places. Works very well if you wanna get the show on the road early too. In this good weather you might as well take advantage of it. Walk through the park, go see some interesting sights, go to the pub, then back to a house for some food and a movie or whatever suits your area. The fact that ye have been chatting and walking will have a greater effect for the both of ye compared to just sitting at a table for a meal or drinks.

Pick somewhere nice but don't tell her where. If it's meant to be, she'll find you.

Not if the OP or his girlfriend/boyfriend has tattoos. They don't allow tattooed people in.

Blackbird in Rathmines just opened where the Rathmines inn was. Joe burger across the street if you want food. Lovely outdoor area and you get to show how cool and ahead of the curve you are.

Nice bottle of vino, cheese & grapes, some crusty bread, then park your arse in the delightful surroundings of the botanical gardens for a picnic

    Cheap & cheerful

    Fifty Euro says the pale.

On topic, bring a blanket and a hamper with sandwiches you made yourself and some white wine and go for a picnic beside a local river.

Really? Because I have 5 visible tattoos, two are fairly big, and I've never had an issue getting in.

crazy golf , i once took a girl there on a first date , it didnt go anywhere but we laughed our asses off

This. While you're there make sure to beat her by loads and then rub it in how terrible she is at golf. Women love that sort of thing.

Wow. If that happened to you, I'd be letting them know on their Facebook wall. Don't think many people would take too kindly to being refused over having tattoos!

The cinema. Yeah that always works. 90 minutes of non-talking with the odd giggle and you still don't know anything more about each other.

Just bring her out for dinner and drinks.
