Aer Lingus - Mixing Economy & Business

    Hi

I'm booking a long weekend in NYC later this year. I'd like to fly out Economy and back Business (with Aer Lingus). Logic being that the outward journey is during the day so having a bed is less important.

The website doesn't let you do it though and when you try and book one way segments, the Business leg becomes way more expensive.

    Any suggestions?

    Many thanks.

There's no problem choosing economy one way and business the other on Aer Lingus. Why do you think you can't do it?

do a dummy booking with both legs in economy then you will be given the option to *upgrade your trip* assuming there is availability.

I tried it last night and got an error message saying that you can't do it.

Each leg is around €900 when you're booking a return trip but if you try and split it and make two one way booking, the return leg is a couple of grand.

Maybe try again with a different browser, or if it's still causing problems follow endofrainbow's suggestion.
