What is this flower and how do I control it?

This has been growing in my front garden every year and produces nice flowers later in the summer but it is a pain as it grows too big and covers the edge of my lawn, starving the grass of sunlight. What is it called and how can I control it without losing the flowers? Thanks

It's alchemilla Mollis, also called lady's mantle. It is a perennial, and seeds freely, so you need to cut it back to reduce or get rid of it.

Alchemilla mollis wasn't worth waiting the 2 minutes it takes me to download. Just chop it back you won't kill it.
