A used Garmin Edge 705 unit for sale with mount & two (count 'em) cable ties!

I might have another spare mount knocking around at home and if so, then that's included also.

    €250.00.

    Edit: Postage extra. Collection ideal.

Profiting from my kind nature. Enticing someone to buy the garmin with 2 free cable ties. :-)

I'll meet you in the middle at €150. Which is actually €2.50 more in your favour but hey, a sale is a sale. €120 is just that bit too low for me to be honest. It's a fine device.

Yes. With the mount as per the photo. I need the cadence detector.

    Hey,

Is this loaded with Irish maps?

It actually has Northern and Central Europe maps on the micro SD card that is with it. I forgot that in my OP!

Edit: I think that Ireland is included in that. Purchased from Garmin.

    Hey,

Is this loaded with Irish maps?

AFAIK, you can load the open street map data on the 705 quite easily, which is pretty good at this point in time for cycling. Better than the Garmin base map for northern europe, and free is always a good price.

    I'm seriously tempted.

It's a nice device, bigger screen than 500, has cadence and hr also and has mapping.

Paid 190 with out front mount about 2 months ago.

    150 is good deal.

Don't know OP from Adam other than he does crazy stuff on a bike!

Another training log? More extreme than zero to 3000 in a month?

That would be divorce court inducing behaviour, so no!

Is this a different mount to the 500, 800, 510 etc. Is it the twist mount or does it need ties ?

    Hi there,

150 offered - assuming battery life is still pretty good?

You can buy an adaptor from Amazon for a couple of quid to make it work with the 1/4 turn type.

Next in line if JiffyJ declines.

Didn't realise it also gave 10 digit grids

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,338 ✭✭✭Lusk_Doyle

Sold and handed over to JiffyJ. Best of luck with it.

    Mods, please close.
