Shock is faulty depending on car you can pick up set of rear shocks between 150 - 250 euro and either fit them yourself or pay a mechanic to fit them for you probably another 100 euro

Price the shocks in local motor factor or online micksgarage.com

Best to replace both rear shocks at same time

Most shocks are easy enough to change with basic hand tools
Bolts can be tight because of rust so a little penetrative oil or wd40 will make it easier.

if you have coil over shocks that is the shock is fitted inside the spring you'll need spring compressor tool. Otherwise it be a standard shocks on back, normally held in with one top and bottom nut and bolt.

    The spring can be reused
put your reg in micksgarage.com and there should be pictures of the shock.
You clould also look up youtube its very likely someone has uploaded a video showing how to change rear shock on your make model.
Then you can decide if this is something you want to tackle or get mechanic to do it.
