Hello to everyone. I like Chess, who doesnt. I mean even if you cant play, it is still a good game and anyone can learn quickly although winning is the next highlight.

Anyway, just to tell you all that county Clare is soon to become one of many treasure chests for chess game enthusiasts and chess game lovers from all over the world.

I know ya, I hear ya sayin, "wha ?, a chess matchin festival !?". Well, sure, ya never know and in this day and age, county Clare is as good for a good old game of chess as anywhere else including Tromso in Norway.

I have to tell ye that Chess in Ireland will bloom when county Clare opens its doors to chess games.

Remember this one and all, "Chess Eire"

Tis where the heart of everything is held in its special place. Christy Moore sings about it and Gary Kasparov will one day visit it as a mighty Irish initiative.

Gary was here the year he lost the election for FIDE president. I'm glad to see Irish chess thriving over the last 10 years, and it's amazing to have our team in the top 100 in the world. Well done, Ireland!
