Washing Machine accidently turned off during a wash

    Hi all

My washing machine was turned off by my toddler during a wash and it was full with water and clothes. Then it was turned on again by my wife >:( and she started the wash program again (when it was full with clothes and water). Then she turned it off when it started leaking and is now at about 30% full.

Is there anyway I can drain it manually? Its a whirlpool.

Instructions say nothing. Any help would be great!

Get a basin, put it on the floor
take the drain hose out of the stand-pipe
bring the drain hose down into the basin, it should start to drain

Before doing that, have you moved it to the "drain and spin" programme and tried that? If not, let it drain, spin, then start the washing from the beginning.
