    Just ignore them I take it?

    Personally I ignore all of those foreign numbers unless I happen to know someone in that country. Currently I'm getting calls from Egypt, I've never answered so I don't know what the scam is, more than likely they want you to ring back and you can bet it's a premium number.

    A cousin of mine sometimes calls me from Spain. She uses an internet cafe to make international calls, and the international dialling code from there (for whatever reason) is Bahrain.

    After declining a few of them, she texted me to ask why I wasn't answering.

    Might be innocent.
