Build Question

OK, so I'm not a PC person at all but I've come into posession of a nice Dell 690 unit (it's massive....) and I'm stocking it with items to deliver a personal VM envrionment, powered off until required, using WOL to wake it and autostart VirtualBox, Webserver / App to start VirtualBox VMs.

Comments / criticism welcome before I go ahead and build!

    PC: Dell 690, 2 X Dual Core, 24GB Memory

    Plan:
    (1) Populate with 8 Port LSI PCIx SATA 2, 7 * 750GB SATA Drives in ZFS RAIDZ2 for Data and 2 * 750GB SATA for OS (RAID1 off MB)
    (2) Add Dual Port GB NIC
    (3) Add Sapphire 3GB 7970 GPU

It's got a 750w PS which has me slightly concerned wrt GPU and all those disks

It will not be used for gaming (why the GPU then....well it's all I have!)
Can anyone see any clangers ahead (except for a whopper electricity bill).

Use will be a Linux/Virtual Box host, running OwnCloud VM/Torrent VM S/Windows 7 VM/Linux VM.

750 watts will be loads for all the disks and gpu etc, and to be honest I don't have a clue what all the other stuff means.
