Have a friend visiting tomorrow and going for lunch. Not familiar with the best places to go to anymore. Any recommendations - in town or surrounding areas?

    Thanks

Rugatino on Rockwood Parade, no contest.

Hargardons on O'Connell Street can be damn good, but sells out quick, quite traditional and rustic, not like your usual pub grub. Although McHughs do, do good pub grub them selfs.

Lyons Cafè is worth a look too.

    Thanks for replies.

Is there anywhere decent in Rosses Point?

The Venue for resturant style. Chicken, steak and seafood.

The Bella Vista for pub grub.

Shells Cafe in Strandhill. Great spot, always busy.

Thanks for recommendations. Was a bit too early for lunch so went to Shells for breakfast and a good walk afterwards.
