The Cycling event of the summer

We're 35mins from Limerick, 30mins from Nenagh and 15mins from Tipperary Town.

Our GAA and LGFA clubs are hosting a cycle challenge on the 20th July 2014. Not to be missed.

•100km challenging cycle around West Tipp and East Limerick (including two safety cars (one at 30/35kmph & one slower)), fully marshalled
•50km route around the surrounding villages
•
Online registration is now open
•
Places filling fast

•
Free event t-shirt.

•
Free sponsored race number.

•
Free BBQ food after for all cyclists.


Highlights from last years event inlcude:
•
225 cyclists from Cappawhite and beyond (all counties in Munster represented, 4 counties in Leinster and 1 from Ulster)

•
Competitors from An Post Ras

•
Children aged 6 upwards

•
Thanks to everyone who took part and helped out on the day

•From 9.30am on Sunday 20th July 2014
•Opportunity to register locally in Cappawhite on week starting 14th July 2014
•Individual cycle times to be confirmed on 25th June 2014 - details on the website

Entry fee

•Adult - €25
•Online registration - €20 REGISTER NOW
•u16 child - €5
•Family (2+2) - €50 (with any other children in the family free of charge).

The apres-sportive BBQ was excellent as well.

Cappawhite - Philipstown Cross - Chadville Cross - Browne's Cross - Tipp town - Bansha - Christ the King - Tipp Town - Donohill - Ironmills - Cappawhite - Cappawhite Community Centre

50KM Registration from 10:15-11:00am. Start at 11:15am sharp.

Cappawhite Community Centre - Cappawhite - Annacarty - Jerry Jacks Cross - Whites Cross - 4 Cross Roads - Philipstown Cross - Chadville Cross - Browne's Cross - Ayle School - Toem - 4 Cross Roads - Cappawhite

10 km Registration from 12:00 to 12:30pm. Start at 12:45pm sharp

Would suggest being there early as big crowd expected from many cycling clubs in Tipperary and rest of Munster
