    Slightly off topic
Bought a second hand ivor Williams with fold up decks, went to add to insurance & was asked for serial number (reasonable request).
Does anyone know where I can find it?

Should be on a plate just behind the hitch on the drivers side

Yea thought that, plate is gone & rivets are still there.
Thought maybe would there be something somewhere else.
    Thanks for your help

Yea. There prone to falling off OK.

Specially as they fly out the gate of the real owners farm behind some dodgy jeep in the middle of the night. ;).

Seriously though. I couldn't believe the rivets ALL just fell out, I'd be really worried about the history Of your trailer, might be a good idea to contact the last owner for an explanation on that one.

Plate is gone, 3 of the 4 rivets are still there.
Plate on the hitch is just about hanging on, probably not see Christmas.

Should also be stamped into the drawbar, on the top of the left hand rail just around where the hitch unit bolts in. If a grinder has been near there I'm afraid it's not looking to good...

Definitely if its new enough to be worth insuring, I'd be very suspicious, The plates don't fall off that easy !!!!! there's a no. on the drawbar too I think
