So I currently have the R7 superquad, and I think it's time to upgrade to the newer Taylormade model! I personally have found taylormade drivers to be the best (for me)!

I'm thinking os the SLDR, has anybody tried it? how do you find it?

Also, when will the next Taylormade driver be launched (roughly) anybody any ideas?

There's a thread on the SLDR driver here. As for when the next one is due, no idea but Google is your friend. ;)

Any time in the next 7 days from previous form.

Back on topic. The SLDR is the first Taylormade driver that has interested me in years. The science behind the low/forward centre of gravity is unique but it won't suit everyone. Get fitted because it doesn't behave like other drivers.

I'd be slow to move away from this driver if it works for you. Still widely regarded as one of the best they ever produced. As mentioned get fitted. And keep the R7 in case you need to go back to it !!

I had an R9 and upgraded to the R11 and its has made some difference to my game but more importantly I got the R11 with the exact shaft I was after.

I still tend to leak the odd one to the right and lately have been having some difficulty even getting the ball off the tee but that is entirely my fault for trying to burst one out there!!

Yeah I've heard a lot relating to shafts! I've moved to stiff in the irons, and that part of my game has fallen to pieces because of it! Where would you recommend for fitting for it? I went to American golf for the irons, but the guy just gave me standard irons in the end - fitted for nothing when i think of it!

a good % of people are standard loft and lie. getting the right shaft is the tough part. Everytime i have been fitted they have recommended the Project X 6.5 but i have gone for the 6.0, i just feel i hit it a bit harder in a fitting and find the 6.5 very stiff when theying to play a half shot.
