I have my land burned off to go reseeding. I am going to plough, disc, power harrow and sow seed.

I was just wondering when is the best time to apply farm yard manure is this process? Also for lime and fertiliser?

Plough in the FYM. don't plough too deep though. 6" is enough.
Depending on weather and what its like ye should normally apply fert when ye sow the grass. But if its weather like we have now hold off until a bit if rain is on the way

Ya that's what I was thinking, sure it would be best do all the main work (plough, disc and power harrow) while it's dry and sow the fertiliser, grass and lime when rain is on the way??

When putting a few shores a field that I am reseeding would the best option to bring all the stones to the top on the shore?

How long would you wait after spraying off with roundup, before ploughing?

Ye throw out the fert if its good mild weather. Be fairly costly to bring stones right to top I'd imagine?
    When's she's brown will do :)
