    Hello,

People are talking about the Government and control, and let me tell you we ARE the government, DERR yeah..

    Moving right along.

I think that all drugs (psychoactive weather its LSD or Zoloft) should be regulated, BUT by society and of course not given to young people.

    What do you think?.

I've never understood the argument that all drugs should be regulated. I mean how to you regulate usage of crack cocaine? Are you gonna cut them off when they show signs of addiction?

The government is part of society, and made up of people.

It was a clear black night, a clear white moon, Warren G was on the streets, trying to consume some skirts for the eve, so I can get some funk just rollin in my ride, chillin all alone....

Decriminalization for all, regulation for some. I believe that's the largest progressive consensus and it's definitely the healthiest thing for society if it were to happen.

legal/not legal - i'm still gonna be smoking my weed.

these threads only appear when someone can't get hold of any drugs and they get frustrated and "god dammit it should be legal".

no, cocaine should NOT be legal. DUUUH

Well, crack cocaine is crack cocaine. And addiction is addiction. We as people, some people get addicted and that's just the way it is.

But it would be regulated by society, (us the people).

And of course, new drug treatments to treat addiction.

And of course if the drugs are regulated by society, then no one would bother with crack cocaine

Are you mad? When people get addicted, you put up the tax in the next budget, not cut them off.

    n0

You do know how much it costs to have a person IN JAIL FOR USING DRUGS.

    LOOK AT THIS;

A MAN THAT WAS sent to life IN PRISON for using LSD (AND HE WAS NOT EVEN CAUGHT WITH IT)

I have a vision of Jimmyie gone native in the Burren, running from place to place in the nip, sunburned and thirsty, stopping only to post whatever carriage of his train of though is passing the fogged up window in his head at that moment, like Fr. Jack, but with less purpose and clarity.

but the kids will get addicted to the majuranna and then die and it will be very sad for everyone and then there will be no kids that can play gaa for the parish which means that the rest of the people will also be sad and then they will use drugs to not be sad anymore and will die too and then the problem will just get worse and worse and there will be no drugs left because everyone is dead

What does 'regulated by society' even mean? Do we get to beat the living daylights out of addicts or something?

I don't blame the government, I blame the psychoactive weather.
The sun is shining and temperatures are in the 20s.

If the windows are too hot to lick there is no need to start threads as an alternative form of amusement.

We as a society have decided that rape is a heinous act. Yet there are still rapists.

    No, don't you understand that:

    OK, I will tell you.

There are addicts and then there are anti-social people, now the anti-social go out robbing from others, they can be anti-social + addict.

    Guys, if you have the brain for it, a brain then I really recommend you watch the video below;
    youtube.com/watch?v=4Hz6-2NwRzE

Please watch the video. The first 20 minutes are more or less more personal. But after 30 minutes in the video, IT GETS DEEP INTO ADDICTION in a easy way for you to understand.

There's going to be big stuff happening soon guys.

    NO.
    a BIG MASSIVE NO.

    Addicts need treatment.
Addicts are good decent people, but good people that turn into addicts (during when they are addict, their brain changes, so there may also be behavior change)

Their animal brain (midbrain) is over active, and the midbrain is activated when you are trying to stay alive, example: a bear craps in the woods and then goes to attack you, you need to use your midbrain to get out a live. you either try to kill the bear with your bear hands or run away with poo hanging out your bum.

    how come brah?.

Well, if I make you feel like that, well dam man I'm sorry, I don't want you to feel like that. Please explain m8 how you would feel like crap, thank you.

Don't worry m8, just be happy.

If your ever feeling down this what you should do in my opinion:
    1. Make yourself something nice to eat.
    2. Make yoursellf a green tea or hot coco
    3. Get cozy in your bed, get your headphones and a laptop
    4. Put this on youtube.com/watch?v=5B7NyRKd4J8

I've never understood the argument that all drugs should be regulated. I mean how to you regulate usage of crack cocaine? Are you gonna cut them off when they show signs of addiction?
The thing is though crack cocaine is an extreme version of cocaine which is itself an extreme version of the natural stimulant in the coca plant.

It's also a reaction to the market and hard core drug addicts. You end up on crack cocaine more than start off on it. If people had access to regulated cocaine they probably wouldn't have any desire to move onto crack.

There are a number of problems with cocaine use not least of which is that there's really no way of using it without doing damage to whatever part of the body it's absorbed through. I still think you should be allowed to try it and use it recreationally if you so desire but it should never be sold over the counter in a standard shop.

Create drug social clubs where you're signed up member (and gone through a medical exam), they sell you regulated drugs free of contaminants and watch over the users to make sure they're ok. Keeping the drug use social stops them from pigging out at home. You could say, people will still become addicts and that's true but they'll be under supervision and the addiction can be dealt with much more efficiently and up front because there won't be the same kind of shame. It will allow people with a passing interest to try it once or twice and move on without any interaction with criminals.

Cocaine is a difficult one though, it is one of the more addictive and dangerous drugs. I wouldn't be looking to legalise cocaine until Cannabis and mushrooms have gone through the same process as a test bed. But I think overall it would be much better for society if people had a safe place to try these drugs.

Cocaine came first and then crack cocaine was developed. Probably in part to purify dirty cocaine that had been mixed down to much. The people who do cocaine recreationally tend not to want to pull out a pipe and start smoking crack. Cocaine is a rich mans drug, crack cocaine is for the people who end up hopelessly addicted and have built up large tolerances to the drug itself.

If people were using drugs in a social club they wouldn't be offered crack cocaine for a start, trying cocaine once might satisfy their curiosity, the cocaine will be of such good quality they won't see any need for moving up to crack.

as someone who regularly uses cannabis, i wouldn't care less if it was legalised tomorrow. this debate on boards has gone on long enough. it wont change the law just because we debate it on some random internet boards. if you can still get your drug of choice, what's the point in annoying yourself and leaving yourself open to nonsense abuse from people who dont understand why you take these drugs?
