BMW N43 engine & coil packs

    Hi All,

    My wife is looking to get a new car and is favouring a 08-10 BMW (3 series 2.0 petrol) from what I can see the N43 engine is seen as a bit unreliable and seems to have a problem with coil packs.

    Does anyone have first-hand experience with these and can offer any info/advice?

    Does anyone know how much it costs to replace a coil in the above type cars?

    What should I be looking out for if I go to view one?
