Concrete stairs cold bridge

Unfortunately, I poured my concrete stairs about 6 months now and just noted that there is a cold bridge since its lying directly on the foundation slab. I had'nt considered this at all but since the floor insulation and screed is not down yet, is there any work I can do to recover from this mistake (bar removing the base of the stairs) and what sort of effect should I expect from having done this if anyone experienced it?

is it on to an internal wall, or resting on any external ?

You might be overthinking this - if the footprint on the slab is only the size of the bottom step itself, then it's effect may be negligible. You'll be insulating up & around it with the floor screed anyway.

I certainly wouldn't be removing a stairs over this - but that's just me.

You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Could possibly be overthinking it alright :)

I'm starting to understand why people say you need to build 2 or 3 to get it right - I hope its all structural as a couple of mistakes as the above (and wishing I'd gone 200/300 on the cavity) hopefully makes up the most of them.

The stairs is tied to the inside wall and floor insulation will be wrapped around it so should be ok.. 000's have gone before me..
