I'm in the process of joining CPL healthcare, but I'm having an awful time dealing with them. I started the application nearly four months ago!

When I sent off the application they never rang to say they received it and have shown little interest since. It also cost me a lot of money between getting injections, renewing my passport and €30 for Garda vetting and a fitness for work examination!? I was told garda vetting is free?

its always me that has to ring them to see what's going on, they never ring me. Has anybody any advice what to say to them without being to ratty with them? Or maybe I should be at this stage.

It's the only form of identification they accept. I presume it's to prove who you are and that your eligible to work in the EU?

What position are you applying for ?
    Nurse or c/a ?
Have you all your relevant qualifications?
All certs etc up to date?

Ring them maybe because you have not renewed your passport they maybe thought you were not interested.
Did you specify you are available part or full time or are you confined to a particular area of work?

Ya - but if you're Irish, then I don't see why an expired one wouldn't do just as well.

But anyways ... yes, it always you ringing them. And you need to keep ringing them (and being polite about it), until you get into their heads as one of the first people to call when they have some work. Remember, they don't work for you, they work for the employers.

And yes, Garda vetting should have been free.

I too am applying to Cpl to work as a Health Care Assistant, and am looking for information as to what they are like to work for and is there plenty of work available. Also what is the interview like-what kind of questions do they ask-is it difficult?
Thanks very much for any reply.
