Can anyone tell me is it unusual to take up Classical Studies in 5th yr for LC without having done it upto JC. ? I have opted to do it but it was never a choice in our school before this.

Not at all plenty of people at my old school took it up in 5th year. I did it for junior cert as well but very little of what's on the JC course is on the leaving cert course which is a two year course that assumes no prior knowledge. Hope you enjoy it!

Don't worry. Loads of people pick it up for LC without having done it for JC.
