How do I get paint off concrete?

I painted the garden shed yesterday and foolishly didn't put down anything to catch the spills so there's plenty of splashes on the concrete around it. I'm looking for some ideas to remove it, I'd rather not use white spirits as we have pets and I don't want to risk them being poisoned if they got in on their paws, thanks in advance.

What type of paint is it? Only based or water based?

It's exterior paint not sure what it is.

    Oil based apparently

If water based try plenty of water and a bit of a scrub before it hardens, even firing washing up liquid on it soon might help. Don't leave it too long. Is it oil based? Look at the tin. If so you will need to something different.

Rough sandpaper will get it off if its dried on.

Water washable nitromors. Wash it down afterwards.
