Eircom van coming down the road

    First of all:
    - I know they are offical eircom.
    - But the question is, WHY are they doing it.

    I'm from and in co.clare, but anyway this is the second time now like in 2 days in a row that the same eircom van comes down the road, then goes back out the road. (now I know they are offical eircom people or whatever), BUT why are they driving down the road and then back up?. at least the 2nd time in 2 days.

    I am making a note of what time they are driving on the road in my head so I know, because I don't want anyone to be harassed or anyone to feel like they are being wrongfully accused/spied on or anything .


    any idea please?

    Going to and from work? Honestly did you really start such a stupid thread?
    No because the road comes to a end and there's only a couple of neighbors.

    and if thye were coming from work to home, when why is they come at 7pm then go back out the road in 5 minutes.

    also, I know the neighbors and no one has a eircom van.

    I can confirm that eircom vans are only used in official business such as repair works & maintenance to its network or specific lines/customers broadband ect.

    I would like to assure you that there is no cause for concern Jimmy :)

    but may I please ask they then stopped on the road for around 2-3 minutes outside the house, then continued to drive down, and then back out.

    I won't be able to answer that, it could be for a number of reasons - they might have been looking for an address, trying to get better mobile coverage, anything.
