I got a rough quote of 400 euro for a new clutch.

Thing is the car is a 1996 Mitsubishi Carisma, a new clutch costs more than the car is worth.

I'm wondering if I'm getting screwed on the quote.

    Thanks for any replys,

Seems like a fair enough price to me there is a fair bit of labour involved.
Its not the mechanics fault the car is only worth the price of the job you need to way up if the car is worth spending money on versus what it will cost you to upgrade.

I know what your saying it kinda came out wrong.
Probably best thing to do is get a full health check done on it and see what else it will need in near future.

Thats the only way to know if its worth doing how much are you going to get for it as it is how much will it cost you to buy something half descent thats not gonna cost you a fortune.

Sometimes your better off with the devil you know.
