Please welcome helimachoptor to the forum.

As you may or may not know, every forum on Boards requires a minimum of 2 mods to operate and due to recent events we've moved to get a 2nd Mod on board and helimachoptor kindly offered his services.

While we would hope to have a forum regular modded it wasnt feasible given the time frame and helimachoptor is an excellent candidate.

Any issues you can PM Convery, helimachoptor, Beasty, myself or on eof the Admins.

Why was their no time to have a forum regular modded?

Much better to have a mod who knows the forum regulars already and will contribute something to the forum imo.

Someone becoming a mod for the first time is not a quick process.
In time am active forum member may be added if the CMods wish but for the moment you're stuck with myself and Convert.

I'm not here to be an ass or for a power trip, I'm here to help the forum run smoothly, aslong as the charter is adhered to then i don't a reason to be handing out infractions etc.

I'm always open for a PM conversation on anything that comes up on the forum.

Not always the case, as I mentioned, we need 2 mods per forum and helimachoptor is an excellent candidate having already had previous and current moderator experience.

The long and short of it is, in a quick browse, no candidates stood out to us and helimachoptor came forward and offered to help out Convert.

Thats not to say that a very active, regular user, wont be modded in the future but for the short term solution and having 2 mods, we decided to go with Helimachoptor.

I'd also advise that this isnt the place to discuss who is or who isnt a suitable mod, this is more of an FYI/well wishing thread, to let you know whats happeneing.

Also, a Feedback thread is neing discussed between the CMods,Convert, Helimachoptor and the Admins and should be up in due course.
