Losing Other channels on Sky HD+ box

Everytime I change a channel I lose the UTV etc from the other channels menu. If I retune on add channels they all appear again.

Has anyone experience this and were you able to rectify?

It is a persistent and particularly annoying problem. I appreciate any help as this is for my father who is mobility impaired and finds pushing too many buttons difficult.

are you saving them when you tune them, its a coloured button you have to press, its press yellow to store and then select to save but look closely on screen.

Good point. The yellow button ticks the channel you want and then press the green to save them. Also check the box isn't in Eco mode. Press services, options,Sky+Setup. Scroll down to Standby Mode and select "None". Don't forget to press the green button to save your changes.

I tried many things with but eventually got a solution from Sky

A full reboot of the box did the trick. Unplug for 2-3 mins, remove card. Replace card and power up. This will take about 4-5 mins. Hey presto there they were, I didn't even need to retune.

My guess it was a problem with an update and sky eventually put a patch in place.

I hope this helps someone, it was a pain loosing UTV.
