Is it acceptable to replace rear springs individually? (as only one is broken) or is it best practice to replace in pairs like shocks? Thanks.

They are best to replace in pairs as they can sag a bit over time.

One way around it is to fit a 2nd hand spring.

Look online as springs are often sold in pairs and not very expensive
