I (think) I have a Shimano 105 SM-BB5700 Bottom Bracket. Looking on the internet its says its a 68/70mm case width.

ANy idea if its a BB30, BSA or ITA?

Trying to figure out what type of power2max power meter maybe compatible?

I think BB30 is press fit so very little if any threads.
Most BBs are english. it will say it on your current cups.

You mean the BB shell or the BB?

using the power2max guide it suggests using the BB cup size as a guide to finding the BB as per this

It's a headwrecker alright to get your head around the options. You have a BSA 68 (english) on the roadlight with a shimano hollowtech2 bb. This is the same standard as the FSA gossamer cranks P2max do you could just swap that straight in with out changing the bb. Your issue is if you are getting a new bike the bb on that needs to compatible.

Generally speaking cranks with 24mm spindle will fit in any bottom bracket with the right bb or adapters. A bb30 crankset will only fit in a bb30 bottom bracket. Couple of the power2max options rotor and tune with 30mm spindles will fit bsa68 bb30 bb86 with different bottom brackets available to adapt. Some of these bottom brackets are expensive enough but good options if you change bikes regularly or have a few different bottom bracket standards.

This is further complicated by frame clearance issues with p2max with some cranksets and frames.

I have a power 2 max . I ended up getting a rotor 3d (24mm ) version. As ryath said you can make this option fit any current BB configuration with adapters.

It will fit any standard shimano BB without any modification.

I have found the unit great and have had absolutely no problems. I also have a powertap and a couple of times I have ridden with both of them on the bike and two separate garmins recording power numbers. The numbers were within 2-3 watts of each other with the powertap reading lower.

What bike is it? The power meter may not fit your current bb but that's not to say you can't replace it with a bb that will fit and accept the chainset in question.

As an example, one of my bikes had an English threaded bb to fit an SRAM red chainset with a quarq power meter. This chainset did not come with the bike unfortunately, I did however have a Dura-Ace chainset. I replaced the bb with an Ultegra bb and hey presto everything works.

Moral: multiple bottom brackets with differing inner dimensions are available to fit the same shell.

I have a Canyon AL 6.0 (105) and hoping to get a Canyon Ultimate CF (Ultegra) by the end of the year.
