    Hi,

I am a adult dependant on my partner jobseekers allowance. He got offered 2 months full time contract work and i have no job yet but still searching.

If i applied for my own claim since i am 24yrs old will that be seen as a new claim and only get new rate of 100 euro or since i have been an adult dependant for 3 years would i be entitled to the rate of 144 euro

Please reply someone i am worrying about this ASAP as he starts work soon

    Thanks

Factor in also that his wages may come into play to determine an appropriate deduction from that €100 (if any) (depending on what he earns).

If he is not earning say above minimum wage, then generally you'll likely stay at the base payment.
