Teaching Posts in England

Good afternoon! I'm a graduate of NUIG and have found myself over in England teaching Maths. One of my colleagues is leaving my school to become head of recruitment for the Academy that funds my school. So he's now in charge of recruitment for nearly 30 schools all within an hour of where I am in Essex.

He has 40 positions - Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, to fill and that's where ye come in. If you have a University degree and want to teach over here, he can pretty much hook you up for any subject.
Even if you do NOT have any teacher training in that degree( You would need to complete an Newly Qualified Teacher Programme- a one hour workshop every second week) You would work on a supply contract - so basically subbing - but at a rate of £100+ a day (all cash on a Friday) depending on the subject and school. Accomodation will be included to a degree also!

Even though you would be on a sub contract if you are good enough and the school want to keep you there for the following year, there is a high probability that your Summer holidays would also be paid. There are only 25 actual teaching hours per week in the schools so I would imagine you would actually be only teaching your subject for 19 or so off those hours. Usual day 8am - 4 pm. All schools would be maximum off one hour from Stansted.

The guy himself who does this has his own website http://foucheteach.weebly.com/ - its straight forward and too the point but its on the go 12 years and no problems. If you are actually interested send me a message and I can give you any more info you might need!

Even if its just about basic things about teaching in England. Even if you are not interested yourself maybe pass this information on to any friend of yours that might be at loose end and want a go!
If you are seriously interested drop me a private message in the next week.
