Auroglym super resin polish how to apply

Basically I am not big into detailing but it's something I want to start into as I like to have my cars clean. I figure a good starting point is autoglym super resin polish and then using extra gloss protection. But basically how do I apply it properly what do I use to put it on ? How long do I wait before buffing it ? Do I use a microfibre cloth ? How much to use ? Same for the EGP do I leave much time between applying the SRP and EGP. Thanks for the advice. Basically I know how to clean the car using the two buckets method but applying the polish is the problem.

I know it fairly basic compared to some of the detailing that goes on here but you have to start somewhere I suppose :)

De-tar and clay the car before going near SRP, any contamination will only end up putting more swirls in the paintwork when applying product.

It's fairly easy to apply. Microfibre is grand, use sparingly and apply thin coats. You'll know when to buff it off, it hazes up. If you have any sort of compressed air you can use, SRP tends to leave quite a bit of 'dust' residue when you buff it off.

Thanks for that looks easy enough to apply going by the video. I have an air compressor so that won't be an issue. I suppose the best thing to do is start and take my time and do it panel by panel. That's my plans for next weekend sorted anyway :)

Start on a large enough & easy panel like the bonnet, you'll figure it out easy enough. I'd recommend doing more than 1 panel at a time when you get the hang of it though. By the time you've got it applied to a second panel, the first should be hazing up nicely. End result is you save a lot of time :)

Don't leave it on too long, and don't apply it in direct sunlight. It gets baked on / becomes almost impossible to buff off.
