A couple of questions on VAT

    Is VAT charged on rail travel? Also, is it charged on car park fees?

    I can't seem to find any Irish specific information online, and Irish Rail's website doesn't mention VAT. I'm guessing no, but I want to be sure.

    Car parks, I'm assuming yes, but it's a bit of a problem area, as most car parks swallow your ticket as you leave, so no receipt.
