    Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if they've managed to get a good deal on prescription wrap sunglasses?

I bought Dirty Dog ones before and got polaroid prescription lenses put into them. It cost a lot though because at the time they were reluctant to put my -4 lenses in. I'm led to believe that now they can thin out the lenses pretty easily.

Are there any good companies around that you'd recommend? The frame and lense combination last time cost me around €150.

I highly doubt you will get a good pair of polaroid prescription lenses with a decent frame for much less than €150.

The main problem with wrap around sunglasses is the curve which can lead to the lenses popping out. Although you can get high index polaroid lenses now that will push up the cost of things

The frames were very cheap. I remember paying €100+ for the lenses alright. Is there anywhere worth a try?

Most "Eyezone" Opticians are doing Bolle wrap sunglasses with polarizing lenses for €189 as a special offer at the moment .
Google eyezone for a list of your nearest , they are all round the country
